I’ve included a relatively inexpensive mitre saw in this shopping list in case you don’t have one of your own. My philosophy regarding tools is to buy an inexpensive one first, and if I use it enough to wear it down I can end up spending more on an upgrade (if I don’t use it that much, I haven’t wasted a lot of money). You don’t need a mitre saw for this project necessarily, a hand saw can work find for the couple of cuts you’ll make.
DIY Beersbee Instructions
The instructions are easy. Cut one end of each 5′ PVC pipe at a sharp angle (this will be the end you stick in the ground). Put one of the couplings in the other end, maybe use some PVC adhesive for longevity. The coupling helps the beer bottle stay level and standing. Now place these 20-30 feet apart, pick your teams, and have fun.
