Building your own DIY cornhole kit is something we like to talk about around here a lot. Assembly is pretty easy if you’ve got a little bit of DIY chops and some good tools, but the materials may or may not be easy to find. In the age of the internet, wouldn’t it be nice to have all that cornhole hardware shipped to your doorstep?

DIY Cornhole Kit

Now, wood will never be cheaper online than it is in the store. I suggest finding a local hardware store, Lowe’s, or Home Depot. Most of these locations will help you find the right wood and even cut it to size for free, which will save you some hassle on the DIY end. For everything else though, see the carousel above or the list below.

• 6 inch hole saw for cornhole boards
• 3/8th inch carraige bolts
• 3/8th inch hex nuts
• 3/8th inch washers
• Wood screws

Once you have all the materials you need, follow instructions with some of out cornhole board plans. You’ll be on your way to your own custom cornhole boards in no time. Tools

Low on tools? The main ones you’ll need are a saw (unless you got your hardware store to help precut the wood) and a drill. If you invest in the 6″ hole saw from the list above, you can cut a beautiful hole in your cornhole boards with the help of your drill. Otherwise, you might need a compass and a jig saw to get that hole right. You’ll also want a good drill bit set to help you bore holes for your carriage bolts
